You just have to love D'banj. The singer and businessman, has won the maiden MAMA Evolution awards and to the surprise of many, he dedicated the prestigious prize to his former business partner and popular producer, Don Jazzy.


The MAMA Evolution Award is meant for established artistes who have made a huge impact on the music scene, taken African music to new heights around the world, pushing the boundaries of creativity.


D’banj beat fellow Nigerian representatives Asa, P'Square and 2Face to win the award.
