The opening match will take place at the newly built Alassane Quatara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

The ground will host the final on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

24 teams will participate in the four-week tournament.

Six countries; Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Senegal and hosts Cote d’Ivoire have already qualified for the biennial competition.

The Super Eagles will join them if they pick a draw in their next game in the qualifiers against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in June.

The final draw of the 2023 AFCON will be held in September 2023.

The date and venue will be confirmed by CAF in due course.
