ABU Zaria notice of warning

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria wishes to draw the attention of the University community and general public to the nefarious activities of some individuals who have been cloning the social media accounts of the Vice-Chancellor Prof Kabiru Bala to defraud unsuspecting persons.

It has become necessary to be reporting these criminal activities from time to time as they keep on recurring since 2020 when the Vice-Chancellor assume the mantle of leadership of the University till date.

The hackers often chat with the Vice-Chancellor contact list via WhatsApp, Facebook and other other social media platforms on issue bordering contracts for the supply of computers and job offers to swindle them.

While urging the General public to be wary of such hackers, the University security Division is still working in tandem with other security agencies to track down the fraudsters for prosecution.
