Trinity varsity gets accreditation for nursing, others

Trinity University, Lagos, says all the eight programmes it presented to the National Universities Commission have received full accreditation. It listed the programmes to include Nursing Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, International Relations and Marketing.

The vice chancellor of the institution, Prof Charles Ayo, in a statement, said the NUC confirmed the accreditation in a letter signed by its Deputy Director, Programme Accreditation, S. S. Ikani, on behalf of the executive secretary, Prof Abubakar Rasheed.

“Trinity University, one of the leading private universities in Nigeria, has recorded another milestone, as all the eight additional programmes presented to the National Universities Commission for accreditation in 2022 were fully accredited,” the statement partly read.

The vice chancellor noted that before the latest accreditation, the university received full accreditation for Computer Science, Information Technology, Microbiology and Mass Communication.
