Salem university receives NUC accreditation for seven courses

Salem University, Lokoja, Kogi State has received full approval from the National Universities Commission to run seven additional academic programs in the institution. This was contained in a letter dated March 9, and signed by the Deputy Director, Programme Accreditation, Arc. S.S. Ikani, for the NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abubakar Rasheed.

The university's Vice Chancellor, Professor Alewo Johnson-Akubo, made the disclosure on Wednesday, March 22, while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.


The seven accredited courses in BSc are Computer Science, Information Technology, Geology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and MSc/MBA Business Administration
