APC Rejects Bauchi Governor Results, Demands Cancellation In Five LGAs

The results revalidating the reelection of Governor Bala Mohammed for a second term of office have been rejected by the All Progressives’ Congress in Bauchi State.

The party’s agent for the Governorship election, Monday, Abdulmumuni Kundak, refused to sign the result sheets, claiming that they were marred by irregularities.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that the Returning Officer of the Gubernatorial election in Bauchi State, Prof. Abdulkarim Mohammed, Vice Chancellor, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State, announced Governor Bala Mohammed as the winner, disclosing that the sitting governor secured the highest number of votes.
