Recall that the Senate of the University had reviewed the 2020/2021 academic calendar and approved the closure of the University with effect from Wednesday February 22nd 2023 to Wednesday 15th March 2023 to enable staff and students of the University to participate in the 2023 general elections. 

In view of the change in the date for the Governorship and House of Assembly elections from 11th March 2023 to 18th March 2023, all staff of the University are to resume work on Monday 20th March 2023. Second semester lecture will also commence on the same date (20th March 2023).
