Kogi State notice on resumption for all schools

With reference to our earlier directive dated 20th March 2023 for schools to close down for the general election, I have been directed to inform you that the resumption date as earlier announced remains the same.

All Basic and secondary schools in the State will resumes for normal academic activities on Monday 13th March 2023. Boarding school students are to resume on Sunday 12th March 2023.

Additionally, to make up for the three weeks lost during the general election, the ministry has adjusted the third term resumption date for Basic and secondary schools in the State to 24th of April instead of 8th May 2023 as earlier circulated. 

All school administrators, proprietors and principals are kindly requested to to adhere strictly to this directives.
