Akwa Poly notice to SIWES students on resumption

This is to bring to your notice that your four (4) months or sixteen (16) weeks Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) which commenced on Monday 5th December 2022 has successfully ended Monday 3rd March, 2023.

The earlier initial date for resumption was scheduled for today, Monday 6th March but due to the three (3) weeks mandatory break occasioned by the General Elections, it has been shifted. 

Accordingly, you are directed to resume school officially on Wednesday 15th March, 2023 as normal academic programme commences immediately. 

Any student who extends four (4) months SIWES outside the official date given, does so at his/her own risk.
