UI vacancy for the position of Assistant Director of Audit

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Audit in the University of Ibadan.  

Duties

Preparing reference sheets and performing other duties connected with the writing of annual audit reports.

1. Carrying out periodic checks on the payrolls by insisting on table payment of any month that may be chosen.  

2. Responsible to the Director, Internal Audit.

3.  Supervision of the subordinate staff.

4.  Performing any other duties that may be assigned. 

Qualifications and Experience 

1. Candidates must have a good Degree in Accounting from a recognized university with a minimum of second class lower plus a Master Degree in relevant disciplines.

2. Candidate must have served for not less than three (3) years on the post of Chief Internal Auditor.

3. Candidate must have membership of relevant professional bodies such as ACA, ACCA, ANAN etc. plus at least nineteen (19) years cognate experience and eight (8) years post professional qualification experience.

4.  Candidate must demonstrate mastery of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and have working knowledge of good Accounting/Auditing packages. 

Salary:   CONTISS 14: (N1,831,708.00 – N2,392,572.00) 

Condition of Service:

As obtainable in Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined by the Governing Council of the University from time to time.
