Tragedy struck in Ughelli, Delta state after the driver of a Pathfinder lost control of his wheels and rammed into a pregnant woman and a motorcyclist, killing them on the spot.

According to reports, the incident happened along the Oteri/Ughelli/Ovwor Road. The driver lost control and had a head-on collision with the motorcycle that was coming from the opposite direction, ramming into a furniture shop.

The pregnant woman and her husband were passengers being conveyed in the motorcycle towards the Ughelli metropolis direction when the accident occurred. Unconfirmed reports claim the husband of the pregnant woman also died in the unfortunate incident.
