Oshiomhole takes campaign to wards in Akoko-Edo
FORMER Governor of Edo State and the Edo North Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole weekend took his campaigns alongside other candidates of the party to Akoko-Edo local government area where he called on the people to vote for APC presidential candidate in the February 25th election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, himself for Senate, Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Peter Akpatason for the House of Representatives, Hon Emmanuel Agbaje and Hon Samuel Bello for the two seats in the state House of Assembly.
At Okpe headquarters of ward 6, Oshiomhole said, We ask for support to enable us to win our various positions and promise to work hard to bring good results to our people. When I was the governor of Edo state, I didn’t disappoint and now I shall do better having navigated the politics of the national mainstream.
“Let us vote for Ahmed Bola Tinubu because he is the real man who can pursue policy of production.
At the palace of the Otaru of Igarra, HRH Oba Adeche Saiki gave his royal blessings to all the candidates.
At Ugbogbo headquarters of ward 1 Igarra, the people promised that votes will be delivered to APC because they know Adams Oshiomhole and all the other candidates.
Oshiomhole said “we cannot go for less than Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC. While BAT was building, developing and mentoring political bigwigs in Lagos some of who are highly placed today including incumbent Vice President of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osibanjo Atiku Abubakar of PDP was selling off NITEL and NIGERDOCK to his proxies and today we cry.
At Egbigere, headquarters of ward 8, Oshiohhole called for support and cited the ongoing asphalting of Egbigere- Enwan road facilitated by the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning Prince Clem Agba as signs more development that would come to the people if APC retains power.
