US Consulate General Lagos Auction Sales - Foreign Affairs

The U.S. Consulate General Lagos will conduct an auction sale of used household furniture, appliances, generators, used vehicles and other miscellaneous items.

Address: 3 Sapara Street, Off Oba Akran Road Ikeja (Near May and Baker Pharmaceutical Company)

Inspection and viewing date: January 25, 26 and 27, 2023. (8:00am – 3:30pm)

Date for sales is January 28, 2023.

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Pick-up dates for items purchased: January 29, 30 & 31, 2023.

Items are sold as they are “whereas” with no declaration made of serviceability. There will be “NO RETURNS AND NO REFUNDS.”

Customs duty on all items except those locally procured.

No items will be released to buyers without proof of customs duty payment.

Payment Terms: full payment shall be made immediately after winning the bid or the lot shall be rebid.

Payment will be made in either of the following ways: Cash and debit card (POS).

All items purchased MUST be removed from the Consulate Compound.

Failure to pick-up your lot(s) 3 days after payment attracts a demurrage of #1000 per day, Lot(s) won must be fully paid and removed within 30 days from the premises for non-capitalized items and 90 days for capitalized items. Items not picked up within this time frame will be forfeited.

NOTE: ALL BIDDERS ENTERING A U.S. GOVERNMENT PROPERTY MUST PRESENT VALID IDENTIFICATION TO SECURITY AT THE GATE.
