Ahead of the March 11 2023 Gubernatoral General elections in Rivers State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups under the auspices of Teamcole , khana chapter is set to launch a neighborhood campaign rally support for her Principal, the All Progressive Congress (APC), gubernatorial candidate for Rivers State, Pst. Tonye Cole Patrick.

The Door-to- Door, hamlet-to-hamlet and neighborhood-neighborhood (DDHHNN) strategics Moves is aimed at sensitizing khana residents/electorates on the need to vote for the party’s Governorship candidate, Pst. Tonye Cole and his running mate, Dr. Innocent Barikor.

The Teamcolekhana Director-General and Deputy Secretary 1 Contact and Mobilisation Tonye Cole/ Barikor Rivers APC Governorship Campaign Council GCC, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, said Cole had all it takes to pilot the affairs of Rivers State.

“We are all out to sensitise the people and to encourage every electorates across the 19 wards in Khana to ensure that they participate in all the electoral processes,” he said.

According to him, Cole and Barikor is a good Matched with their sufficient track records to make Rivers work again.

“Cole and Barikor have the capacity and are result-oriented, they are good products everybody needs to go out and sell. We are optimistic that Tonye Cole will emerge the next Governor of Rivers State because he has a template,” he added.

Speaking on Tuesday 10/1/2023 ,during the first LGA Executives Meeting of the year at Bori , Mene Zaa said the campaign approach would also help to correct misinformation, half truth and outright lies against Cole.

He said their findings showed that persons against Cole had not come to know him personally and only depended on lies told them by opposition political leaders in the area.

Zaa's said: “Our conviction springs from the fact that nobody will know the character, personality and competence of Cole without calling on him to lead this State. Nobody will know his qualities without falling in love with his leadershipstyle.

“We believe that people must be informed so that they will stop speaking and acting out of ignorance. That is why we believe that we must meet people one-on-one to help them understand the person of Pst . Tonye Cole and join the winning train and Cole's movement.

The Nyo-khana Political Infantry General further explained that the steps and approach will complement the efforts party’s Governorship Campaign Council (GCC) with a mandate to solicit votes at the grassroots and sensitise voters to increase APC support base across Ward's in khana.

“We are focused on increasing the healthy support base of our principal and governorship candidate and canvassing for votes in the rural areas ahead of the March 11th Governorship and State Assembly elections.

“We have found out that persons against our candidate don’t really know him. They speak and act based on lies told them by mischief-makers. That is why we will launch our door-to-door, hamlet-to-hamlet and neighborhood-to-neighborhood (DDHHNN) campaign method to reach such persons.

“It is our belief that nobody will know the personality, competence and experience of Pst. Tonye Cole without falling in love with his aspiration to lead the State at this time. It is our duty to reach people with the truth and correct misinformation, lies and half truth against our Principal.”

Speaking further , the Political octopus 1 in Ogoniland , also said the APC and Rivers People had been blessed with a Governorship candidate, “who is savvy in governance with plethora of outstanding achievements to point at,” describing Cole as easy to sell and a man on a Divine Caused.

While encouraging his Team players and Members to be more ready to make their last sacrifices, Mene Zaa added "this unique approach was initiated to spread the gospel of Cole's competence, capacity, fitness and experience in all the nooks and crannies of khana LGA, and complement that effort with a vigorous grassroots campaign for Cole /Barikor ticket”, he concluded.
