Many Nigerians are always hipocritical about the real personality of chief Olusegun Awolowo. Whenever he sneezes the whole country catches the cold yet they will pretend as if Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is politically irrelevant.

The reality of the true personality of "Ebora Owu" will always have an impact on the country Political terrains as long as the elderstatemans is alive. The current uniterrupted democracy could be credited to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo his many other shortcomings notwithstanding. He on assumptions of Political power on October 1st, 1999 compulsorily retired all serving partisans army officers and make necessary re-arrangement for re organization of military high command that makes it eventually impossible to stage successful military coup d'etat.

The establishment of ICPC and EFCC the duo economic crimes commission at least was a right step towards wagging war against corruption in the country wether using the Agency for witch-hunting his perceived Political opponents is still immaterial considering the high levels of corruption in the country.

Obasanjo have an input in the coming to power of president Muhamadu Buhari yet he cannot be blamed single handedly because millions of Nigerians also hailed and celebrated their perceived heroism in Muhamadu Buhari as a god sent angelic superhuman being that have solutions to the ailments bedeviling Nigeria and unfortunately here is where we are today.

Politicians were all running after him for endorsement and the moment he endorsed the best among them. He (Obasanjo) turned to an ordinary and irrelevant person all because he refused to endorse them. Of a truth Obasanjo had his flaws but they are all enjoying what he did as a military head of state and as a civilian president.

After endorsing Peter Obi other elder statesmen have follow suit the likes of Clark and IBB. So what are we now saying. They are only scared of the result the endorsements will bring and they never see anything, they will soon see "shege"

For this reason and others Nigerians accros every divides will always be jittery about every action or inactions of the elderstatemans as long as he lives.
