Wole Soyinka Is Not Dead – Sowore Debunks Rumours

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, has debunked rumors of Professor Wole Soyinka's death.

Sowore debunked reports that Professor Soyinka, the world-famous Nigerian Nobel Laureate, has died.

There are rumours on social media, particularly Twitter, alleging that the novelist died on Friday.

But Sowore who took to his Facebook page to debunk the rumour said the playwright is alive and kicking, asking Nigerians to ignore the rumour.

He wrote: “Nothing wrong with Prof. Wole Soyinka, he is alive and kicking. Kindly ignore rumours of his death”!
