Kenny Wormald Early life and education

Kenny was raised alongside his two brothers, Lee and Dylan, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, by their father, Edgar K. Wormald, a theatre actor, and their mother, Melanie, a model.

He was interested in dancing from an early age, and after his parents noticed his passion, they enrolled him in a performing arts school where Kenny practised dancing, singing and acting. He enrolled at Stoughton High School in 1998, where he was physically active, playing both soccer and football, and was a member of the school choir and drama club, appearing in nearly every play played at school.

After enrolling in 2002, Kenny chose not to attend college but to move to Los Angeles, California and focus on his acting and dancing career.

Kenny began taking dancing lessons at the age of six. He starred as a dancer in the movie ‘You Got Served’ in 2004.

In April 2008, he was confirmed to make his acting debut in the Oxygen cable network Made-For-Television film Center ‘Stage: Turn It Up’ as the male lead. Therefore, the film, a sequel to Center Stage, premiered in November of that same year.

Likewise, in June 2010, ‘ Paramount Pictures’ announced Wormald was cast as the protagonist in the planned remake of the 1984 dance drama film ‘Footloose’.

The filming took place in September of that same year on a $24 million budget, with Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid confirmed to star.

And the film ‘Footloose’ was released on October 14, 2011, with generally positive reviews from critics, with Wormald’s performance receiving mixed reviews. In 2012, Kenny starred in the mock reality web series ‘Massholes’.

Likewise, he had the main role of Topher in the movie ‘Kid Cannabis’ in 2013. Kenny also played the role of Pete in the movie ‘Cavemen’. In 2014, Wormald starred as Gordan in the movie ‘The Living’.

The divorce was finalized in 2018, after which Kenny started dating Lauren Bennett again – in early 2020, Lauren gave birth to their daughter.
