Vinicius Junior responds to criticism of Brazil's dancing celebrations

Vinicius Junior has responded to criticism he and his team-mates have received for their celebrations against South Korea, insisting there's more dancing to come.

Brazil won 4-1 in their round of 16 clash on Monday evening, grabbing all four of their goals in the first half of the match.

They celebrated them with group dances, and even manager Tite joined in for one of them. That rubbed some people up the wrong way.

In the eyes of Roy Keane and others, celebrating in such a manner when winning 4-0 is disrespectful to the opponents.

"I can't believe what I'm watching, I can't believe what I'm watching, it's like watching Strictly [Come Dancing]," Keane raged on ITV.

"I don't like this. People say it's their culture. But I think that's really disrespecting the opposition.

"It's four goals, and they are doing it every time. I don't mind so much the first jig, it's the one after that, and the manager getting involved. I'm not happy about it. I don't think it's good at all."

Vinicius doesn't see it that way though and says there are more celebrations planned for the coming matches.

"Sure, some love to complain when they see other people's happiness and we Brazilians are a joyful people, so it will always bother them," the Real Madrid man said.

"The goal is the most important moment in football, in a World Cup it is even more important so it's a moment of joy not only for us players but for our entire country.

"We still have many celebrations ready, so we need to keep playing better, winning games and staying joyful in the process."
