Amy Schumer was born in Upper East Side, New York, United States. She was taken to a father named Gordan Schumer and a mother named Sandra Schumer. An actress also has a brother whose name is Jason Stein and also has a sister whose name is Kim Caramele.

Currently, Kim Caramele is a comedy writer and a producer, while her brother, Jason Stein, is a musician in Chicago, Illinois.

Amy’s father belonged to a Jewish family from Ukraine, and her mother was Protestant with deep New England roots while converting to Judaism before her marriage.

When she was only 12, her father’s business went bankrupt, and she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. After some years, her parents divorced, and Sandra and Amy moved to Long Island and joined South Side High School.
