Campaigners from PETA turned heads in Liverpool's Lord Street after one stripped n*ked to protest the killing of turkeys for xmas.

A woman has caused a stir by lying completely n*ked on a giant Christmas plate in Liverpool city centre today. The unidentified woman was there to protest the killing of turkeys for Christmas meals as part of a protest by PETA.

She was part of the demonstrators who stormed the Lord Street today to persuade people to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle. PETA hopes to encourage people not to buy meat during the Christmas period, the Liverpool ECHO reports.

PETA director Elisa Allen said: “PETA is encouraging people to extend the holiday spirit of peace and goodwill to all by leaving animals off their plates this Christmas.

“Thanks to the array of mock meats available, it’s easier than ever to enjoy a festive meal packed with all the flavour but none of the cruelty of meat.”
