Serious Drama as Pastor is Chased Out of His Church With a Hammer...You Won't Believe Why

Pastor David Muteti Musau, a 45-year-old preacher, has dragged a mason, Edward Anguku, to court for assault.

The pastor is suing the mason for allegedly threatening to beat him using a claw hammer and chasing him out of his church.

According to SDE, Pastor David Muteti Musau of Redeemed Gospel Church, Ruaraka, Kenya, accused Edward Anguku of attempting to hammer him within the church compound at around 7.30pm on October 16.

The pastor told police he was attending a church service when he found a group of men working in a building next to the church.

He said that when he asked why they were building without permission, the accused picked his claw hammer and chased the preacher out of the church compound.

He was rescued by members who were attending the service.

Further, the accused is said to have threatened to burn down the church.

Musau alerted the plot owner and area chief who arrived and rescued him from the scene.

In court, Anguku pleaded guilty and pleaded for leniency, saying he was not aware that he was working within the church compound.

His probation report will be tabled on November 14.
