My Daughter Is Growing, She's Becoming Inquisitive About My Life – Mercy Johnson Okojie

Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie, has disclosed that her first daughter, Purity is growing and is becoming inquisitive.

Mercy made this statement while emphasizing the need for her as a mother to maintain decency and be cautious of the roles she takes in movies.

When the actress first got into Nollywood, she rose to fame within a short while due to her appearances in romantic scenes and other movie roles no matter how scandalous they seemed.

However, the actress stated that she had to make a u-turn after becoming a mother, but despite that, her daughter still tries to dig into her past.

“My daughter is growing. She gets hold of my phone sometimes, begins to google, and goes like, ‘Mum, my friends said…’ And they’re very inquisitive.

“When you grow past a certain level, you try to go ahead and do better. For me, you don’t need people to tell you what’s right or wrong.

“Age is telling on me. I’ve grown past that level, I’m answerable to too many people: my husband and my kids. I hate to embarrass them in any way. “
