The Brazilian forward signed from Everton in a deal worth an initial £50m in the summer, and has bagged twice since making the move to north London.

After a slow start that saw him reduced to appearances from the bench, Richarlison managed to break into the starting XI prior to the September internationals and has taken his form into the break with Brazil.

He scored twice against Ghana and bagged again in a 5-1 thrashing of Tunisia, before speaking to ESPN Brazil about his form for the Selecao.

"Every time I come here I score my goals. It seems that people from Brazil do not see us there in Europe," he said.

"We work hard there too, do our serious work there, score goals. And that’s why I got the selection. It’s about staying focused."

Richarlison then assessed his start to life at Spurs, showing his appreciation for Conte.

"I’m on the right track. Of course, I still need to improve things, and Professor Conte will fix my mistakes there," he added.

After a slow start, the 25-year-old seems to have found his feet and started during victories against Fulham, Marseille and Leicester before the break. Spurs return to action with an away trip to Arsenal in the north London derby on Saturday.
