Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City playmaker, has spoken about the club's striker, Erling Haaland.

He vowed that Haaland will deliver even more when he becomes accustomed to the club’s style of play.

Haaland netted a brace as Man City thrashed Sevilla 4-0 in the UEFA Champions League group tie on Tuesday night in Spain, taking his tally to 12 goals in seven appearances for the Premier League champions.

“I think the way he’s adapted to us is really good, but I think outside the goalscoring, there’s still another part in the game,” De Bruyne said at his post-match press conference.

“I think that part is more tough to adapt to. It makes it more exciting! If he can adjust to the way we play, then the levels will go up. It’s been the perfect start.”

Also speaking at his post-match press conference after the game, Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola said Haaland has an incredible sense of goal, hoping that the Norwegian will score again in their next game against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Guardiola said: “His numbers all his career, even previous teams, are quite similar. He has an incredible sense of goal.

“He has incredible numbers, so we have another final on Saturday against Tottenham and hopefully, he can continue scoring goals. The numbers speak for themselves. It’s not just the two goals, it’s always he’s there, always he’s there. It’s always the feeling that he could score more.”
