Fulham complete permanent signing of Carlos Vinicius
Fulham have announced the signing of Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius from Benfica on a three-year deal with the option for a fourth.
The Cottagers have had a busy deadline day, already confirming deals for PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa on loan and Willian on a free transfer.
Vinicius has followed them in signing for the west London club, returning to England after spending the 2020/21 season on loan at Tottenham.
Speaking to Fulham's club channels, Vinicius said: “I’m really happy to be here. I think it’s a big club with good people, so I’m really, really happy.
“I’m happy to be back in the Premier League again. I’m more experienced now and I think I can help the Club.”
Fulham are expected to wrap up a loan deal for Leeds winger Dan James later on transfer deadline day after he successfully underwent a medical on Thursday evening.
The Wales international was the subject of interest from Spurs earlier this week, but he will head t Craven Cottage instead.
