PSG confirm signing of Fabian Ruiz from Napoli

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz from Napoli.

The 26-year-old has been a long-term target for a number of Europe's top sides but has now opted to take his talents to France, penning a five-year contract upon his arrival in Paris.

Fabian had entered the final 12 months of his contract with Napoli, who had wanted to keep the Spain international but ultimately accepted defeat once a €30m bid came in from PSG, who will now turn their attention to Valencia forward Carlos Soler.

During his four years at Napoli, Fabian racked up 166 appearances, chipping in with 22 goals and 15 assists in all competitions.

He will get plenty of chances to replicate those numbers for PSG, who have already shipped out Georginio Wijnaldum, Ander Herrera and young midfielder Xavi Herrera.

Leandro Paredes is also expected to head out the door, with PSG manager Christophe Galtier confirming that the Argentine has agreed terms with Juventus.
