The politician spoke as the special guest of honor at the Wilson Badejo Foundation’s 15th annual lecture in Lagos on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

Obasanjo, a former head of state, stressed that Nigerians must think carefully about their ballot choices in the general election of 2023.

He argues that the selection of the best candidate for president the following year by the public will determine how far the nation will develop.
