90min understands that while Paris Saint-Germain have not registered a formal interest in the forward this summer, intermediaries representing the club have enquired about his availability.

However, sources told 90min on Thursday that United have no intention of selling Rashford.

Speaking ahead of the Red Devils' trip to Brentford, Ten Hag confirmed that he has no plans to let the 24-year-old depart Old Trafford.

"He is really important, you have seen from the first day I am in, I'm really happy with him, and definitely don't want to lose him, he is in our plans. He will stay at Manchester United," Ten Hag confirmed.

Rashford started in Ten Hag's first Premier League match as United boss last week, playing from the left in a 2-1 loss at home to Brighton.

He squandered a great chance to score from point-blank range after an excellent cross from Cristiano Ronaldo, but goalkeeper Robert Sanchez stood tall to deny him.

Rashford's 2021/22 return of five goals in 32 games in all competitions was his worst since breaking into United's first-team back in 2016.
