You Are at Risk if You Are Still Using Windows 7

I’d met a lot of people who find windows 8 and 10 boring hence stick to Windows 7. It will amaze you to know that the world most popular Microsoft OS Windows 7 is already 8 years old and approaching its dead end. Right now, it’s on a life support and will be pulling off any moment from now.

As of now, Windows 7 only receives major bug fixes and security updates. Microsoft is set to officially end its support to Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. This would mean that no more security updates, product updates or technical support from Microsoft.

Microsoft took to itsGerman websiteto encourage Windows 7 users to upgrade to the latest OS.

According to them, “Windows 7 slowly becomes old. It does not meet the requirements of today’s modern technology, nor the high security requirements of IT departments. We learned from Windows XP that companies should take early steps to avoid future risks or costs.”

“Companies and users who won’t upgrade from Windows 7 within the next three years are facing enormous dangers.”

I know of so many people that naturally fall in love with windows 7 because of its simplicity of use… If you go to most cyber café, you’ll still find windows 7 installed on their system. The question is why have they refuse to upgrade to the latest OS?
