The Spanish and La Liga club achieved the feat after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt.

David Alaba and Karim Benzema scored for Madrid to settle the game in favour of the La Liga giants at 2-0.

Following the win, Real Madrid will get €5 million from UEFA for winning this year’s Super Cup.

Also, the club will receive 25% of the profits obtained from the tickets sold which will push their total prize money to about €8 million according to Bolavip.

On their part, Eintracht Frankfurt are expected to get €3.8 million from the European football governing body for losing the UEFA Super Cup final.

The German club will also pocket an additional 25% of the profits obtained from the tickets sold just like Madrid, so the estimated prize money for them will be €5 million.

The game was played at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in Finland on Wednesday night.

The victory puts Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti on an exclusive list as he becomes the only coach to have won the UEFA Super Cup four times.
