4 Things you Believe About your Android Phone that are not True

Android is by far the most popular Operating system in the mobile world, having been shipped across 19 countries and installed on over 200 million devices, One can say without doubt that over 195 million people uses android today.

Out of these users, many of them have a couple of things they believe the android that are not true. Without further talks, here are four things you believe about your android phone that are not true.

1. Android Origin: It was not Google who originally started/founded the android OS. Android Inc was a company created by four computer experts under which the android OS was developed.

As at that time, Google was just a share holder in the company who does online adverts. Google later bought android Inc in 2005 making the the official owners of the Android OS.

Since then, Google has been modifying/ updating the OS till date.

2. Charging overnight: It’s a common believe among android users that charging your android phone overnight or leaving it plugged-in even when its fully charged damages the battery.

Unfortunately that believe is actually wrong, it’s not that much of a bad thing compare to the way android users sees it when your phone is plugged-in overnight or when you still leave you phone plugged-in even when the battery is full.

Remember its a smart phone, that means its smart enough to detects when the battery is fully charged and immediately stops current from entrying it. Its actually save to leave your phone plugged-in overnight even when it is fully charged.

The only thing to watch out for is make sure that the phones battery is not hot while charging it and if it is, try unplugging it and cooling it before plugging it back in.

3. Rooting android: Many people thinks rooting is one magical thing or one super-cool mystery known only to experts bullshits!! Basically, rooting is just unlocking and modifying the android OEM thereby making the user a developer.

And as a developer, the user has extra access to the core features of the OS. Just like others, rooting has both negative and positive impact on your android which every user must be aware-of just before they attempt rooting their devices.

4. Changing imei number: Although security is something to be aware of, but the approach in-which certain people takes toward it is absolutely wrong.

Some go as-far-as changing their phone imei number just because they believe their government tracks them with it. If your government wants to keep track of everything you do, changing your imei number is not gonna stop them.

And do not also forget that the imei number is a very powerful method to fight mobile phone theft, and if you decide to decide to change it, then you can consider kissing your phone goodbye.
