Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) receives its Wi-Fi certification

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has already appeared on a few benchmark sites. The device is the low-end model for Sammy's Galaxy A series as a cursory look at the specs will attest to. After all, we are talking about a 4.7-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. The Exynos 7870 chipset is under the hood containing an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU, and the Mali-T830 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of native storage. The camera combo from back to front weighs in at 12MP/8MP, and Android 6.0.1 is running the show.

Today, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) received its Wi-Fi certification. The documentation shows the handset's model number, SM-A320F, which matches the model number that we saw on Geekbench and GFXBench.

We could see the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) introduced late this month, or early next month. That would probably lead to a late December or early January launch of the phone. It's predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016), was unveiled last December and launched in January.
