Sony has launched yet another Smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z2a also known as Sony Xperia Z2a D6563 which is seen as the un-identical twin of the Xperia Z2. The newly launched Xperia Z2a copied almost all the top features of Sony Xperia Z2, it weighs same 163 grams but with 137 X 72 X 11 dimensions which makes it smaller than the Z2.

Sony Xperia Z2a features a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which is totally dust proof and water resistant, it has 16,000,000 colors and a 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution, same screen resolution with Xperia Z2 but instead of a 5.2-inch display it got a 5-inch.

It comes with a 20.7MP camera (5248 X 3936 pixels) with 2160p HD video and a secondary VGA camera for self shots. The Xperia Z2a got a non-removable Li-Ion 3000Mah battery which is clearly low compared to the 3200mAH of Sony Xperia Z2, although they both are powered by same 2.3GHz quad-core processor and operates on version 4.4 kitkat of the Android OS.

Also, there aren’t any changes made to the memory capacity of Sony Xperia Z2a, it still kept its outstanding 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM with the extension capacity up to 128GB through MicroSD.
