The Catalan giants announced on Wednesday that they had agreed a deal in principle and, having passed his medical, Raphinha signed his Barcelona contract at an unveiling on Friday afternoon.

"It's a dream come true since I was a kid and for my family as well," Raphinha said of joining Barça. "I'm going to give my best in order to help."

In a parting statement on their club website, Leeds said: "We would like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Raphinha for his effort and contribution whilst at the football club.

"He showed unquestionable commitment and professionalism until the very end of his time at Elland Road and his celebrations at the Brentford Community Stadium will live long in the memory.

"Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Raphinha the very best for the future and hope he enjoys great success at the Nou Camp and throughout his career."

90min understands that the deal is worth around €60m inclusive on add-ons, with Barcelona having seen off competition from Chelsea and Arsenal for the 25-year-old's signature.
