A newly married woman has died in a car accident, according to Dailymail.

Marina Morgan, 29 died in Queensland, Australia just 10 days after she got married.

It was gathered that the accident happened after her new husband Robby overturned the vehicle while trying to perform a U-turn when it was low on battery.

Robby was uninjured but Marina tragically died at the scene on Whitsunday Boulevard on Hamilton Island.

A doctor, off-duty dentist and off-duty firefighter desperately tried to revive her, performing CPR for 35 minutes before she was pronounced dead.

Queensland Police Inspector Anthony Cowan said it was a 'tragic accident' adding there was 'no indication of alcohol or dangerous driving'.

He added: 'There may have been some inexperience driving those type of vehicles while turning it has rolled on its side and the woman has fallen out and sustained life-threatening injuries.

'It just appears inexperience in driving that type of vehicle, turned too quick and rolled on its side and unfortunately, it has ended up with this result.'

Marina was not wearing a seatbelt at the time in the buggy which is a popular mode of transport on the popular tourist island.

The couple had postponed their wedding for a year due to Covid before they finally tied the knot this month.

Robby, a real estate agent, asked Marina to be his wife at a lavish dinner in Sydney in June 2019, surrounded by candles and rose petals, with a large sign that read: 'Marina, will you marry me?'

He was so excited that he posted a photo of the happy couple on Facebook, with the caption: 'Huge night! She said YES!'

As hundreds of friends and family members congratulated the pair, Marina wrote: 'Thank you for such an amazing night, baby. I love you so much can't wait to be your wife.'

They originally planned to get married on July 24, 2021, but lockdowns and venue capacity limits during the pandemic forced the couple to change the date to June 2022 - also pushing back the date of their honeymoon to Hamilton Island.

On July 24 last year - the day they were supposed to get married - a friend wrote a comment on Mr Morgan's Facebook page: 'Thinking of you and Marina today. It should have been your very special day.'

The couple finally got married at St Mary & St Merkorious Coptic Orthodox Church in Rhodes, in Sydney's north-west, on June 11 - 10 days before the tragedy.

Footage showed the bride and groom sharing their first dance in a room of cheering friends and family during the reception at Doltone House, at Sydney's Hyde Park.

Mrs Morgan's brother shared a series of happy snaps from the big day, including a photo of him with Mr Morgan - 'welcome to the family, brother', he wrote.

The blushing bride wore a long, bejewlled white dress and held a bouquet of white roses as she sat in the back of a limousine with Mr Morgan following the ceremony.

On Tuesday evening, tributes started pouring in for Mrs Morgan, who was remembered by loved ones as a 'beautiful soul'.

'So sad Rest In Peace beautiful lady,' one friend wrote on Facebook.

Another said: 'May God rest your beautiful soul Marina'.

'So so sad just wish god had saved her,' a third person wrote.

Limousine service Diamond Wedding Group, which provided the couple with a car for their wedding day, said it was 'deeply saddened and devastated' by the news.

'We would like to pass on our condolences to her family and friends.

'Robbie, we hope you're well and we are so sorry for your loss.

'May she Rest In Peace.'

The couple both worked in the property, with Robby directing a home renovation construction business while his wife ran a media company specialising in real estate marketing.

He opened Outright Property Solutions in early 2020 before his new wife launched her complementary business, Outright Media Group, last December.
