Nigerians Should Not Lose Faith In The APC About The Combat That Happened Last Week In The House - Hon Abdulrazak

A member of the House of Representatives, Hon Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas, has debunked the speculation that the All Progressives Congress (APC) lacks the capacity and experience to govern the country. According to him, the APC has all it takes to take Nigeria to the promise land where every Nigerian irrespective of tribe or religion would have a sense of belonging.

Abdulrazak representing Toungo/Ganye/Jada/Mayo Belwa Federal Constituency of Adamawa State, made this known in Abuja while speaking with newsmen. According to him, the good thing about APC was the way they conducted their party primaries where delegates were allowed to choose candidates of their choice. He said, no candidate was imposed on the people against their wish, which made the election petition tribunal to have less work to do unlike during the era of the PDP. He said this was as a result of people being comfortable with the outcome of the elections.

He called on Nigerians not to lose faith in the APC nor lose faith in the 8th Assembly about what happened last week on the floor of the House saying that it is an indication that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria. The Lawmaker made reference to the number of legislators in the House saying that they are bound to disagree in order to agree.

He frowned at the interference of the leadership of the party by trying to impose principal officers on the National Assembly saying that the party could serve as an advisory body which is normal but on the ground of choosing officers for the National Assembly, he said it is wrong and urged the party and their supporters to embrace peace as the only way growth and development could be guaranteed in the party.

He opined that when issues like this arise, the party should zone it to all the six geo-political zones in the country for equity and fairness as it is in the federal character. Hon Razak advised his party leadership to forgive and forget whatever happened in the past and work towards the progress of the party and Nigeria.
