The Benue State Government has announced a N5m reward money for anyone with information that will lead to the arrest of former Amnesty boss, Terwase Akwaza.
Akwaza, popularly known as Ghana, is the head of Governor Samuel Ortom’s Amnesty Programmes in the state.

He was declared wanted by the police over his alleged involvement in kidnapping, armed robbery and assassination.

The Police had also declared Akwaza wanted over his alleged involvement in the killing of Ortom’s security aide, Mr Denen Igbana and rustling of over 3,000 cattle in the state.

Disclosing the bounty in Makurdi, the state capital, the acting Secretary to the State Government, Bem Meladu, said the reward was to facilitate the arrest of Akwaza, who is on the run from police arrest.

Meladu also disclosed that the Security Council had also directed the State Police Command to re-open the case of the Catholic priest who was kidnapped and assassinated in the state.
