The 22-year-old has become one of the most sought after midfielders on the market after a stellar season in the Primeira Liga. Manchester United, Arsenal, West Ham, Leeds, Everton and Newcastle have all keeping tabs on his situation.

But PSG have triggered the €40m release clause in the Portugal international's contract and he will sign a five-year deal at the Parc des Princes, becoming the club's first signing following Luis Campos' appointment as sporting advisor.

Vitinha spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Wolves but failed to leave a lasting impression at Molineux, being restricted to 22 appearances in all competitions and scoring just once.

But back at Porto, he played a starring role as Sergio Conceicao's men romped their way to the league title, and is now set to continue his development at PSG. He will join up with fellow Portugal internationals Nuno Mendes and Danilo Pereira in the French capital.

Vitinha and fellow youngster Fabio Vieira are now set to leave the Estadio do Dragao, with the latter heading to Arsenal also for a €40m fee.
