Leeds winger James earns praise for Wales World Cup win
Leeds United winger Daniel James impressed for Wales in their World Cup playoff win against Ukraine.
James was praised for his performance in Wales' 1-0 win by former international Dave Edwards. Edwards was on commentary as Wales secured qualification for the World Cup in Qatar for the first time since 1958.
James played just over 70 minutes for Rob Page's side and was able to cause the visitors problems with his pace. Speaking on Sky Sports, Edwards was impressed with what he saw from James and claimed that his end product was much 'better'.
He said: “Dan James has done well again, I feel for Wales," said Edwards. “He's always been an outlet. And his end product has been better."
