A truck crashed into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France, on July 14, where about 73 people were killed in an apparent terrorist attack. At least 73 people have been confirmed dead and 100 more injured, according to French media.

CNN reports that the occupants of the truck exchanged gunfire with police. A gunman was "holed up in a nice restaurant downtown" but has been "neutralized" by police.
