Real Madrid calm as PSG outbid them for Monaco midfielder Tchouameni

Real Madrid expect to close a deal for AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this weekend.

Marca says Real Madrid have made French midfielder Tchouameni one of their main summer transfer targets, with the Spanish team having already put in months of work to make a move possible.

However, things have changed recently, with PSG now in the mix. The French giants have reportedly made a big offer to Monaco and to Tchouameni, which has raised the difficulty for Real Madrid to push a deal over the finish line.

Nevertheless, one way or another, things are expected to come to a head this weekend as Monaco have to decide which offer to accept.

Real Madrid have remained firm in stating they will not match PSG's alleged bid of 100m euros, but the two French sides haven't been able to complete a deal given that Tchouameni's preference is to join Los Blancos.
