NDA blow up five oil pipelines belonging to NNPC, Chevron, others

Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) say they have attacked five oil pipelines.
In a series of tweets on the Avengers’ Twitter handle in early Sunday morning, NDA said the operations to blow up the pipelines were carried out between Friday and the wee hours of Sunday.

Among pipelines affected were those of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Chevron Oil and Nigeria Petroleum Development Corporation major crude trunk line close to Batan flow station in Delta State.


The NNPC crude oil trunk line supplies the Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company.

The tweets read: “At 9:15pm on Friday the @NDAvengers blow up Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Crude Oil Trunk Line to Warri Refinery.

“At 11:26pm on Saturday @NDAvengers blow up two NPDC major crude trunk lines close to Batan flowstation in Delta state.

“At 1:15am on Sunday @NDAvengers blow up two major Chevron crude oil trunk lines close to Abiteye flow station in Delta state.


“ALL FIVE OPERATIONS WAS CARRIED OUT BY @NDAvengers STRIKE TEAM. WELL DONE SOLDIERS.

“At 1:15am on Sunday @NDAvengers blow up two major Chevron Oil Wells. WELL 7 and WELL 8 close to Abiteye flow station in Delta state.”
