Man Grows Massive Boobs After Taking Antipsychotic Drugs

A man’s breasts grew massively after he took an antipsychotic drug when he was just eight years old.

Austin Pledger, now 20, filed a suit against the manufacturers of the drugs, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of ,Johnson & Johnson in Philadelphia.

Pledger, who hails from Alabama in United States was awarded a compensation of $2.5 million for damages caused by the pills.

He was not properly warned that he would grow breasts after taking the drugs to deal with irritability associated with autism, reports Pilly.com.

It was learnt that the label attached to the drug indicated that it had low risk of gynecomastia, a condition that causes men to grow female breast.
However, in 2006, the warning on the drugs was changed indicating that the drug contained high levels of the breast-growing hormone.

It was rather late as Pledger had begun to develop the enormous breasts.Jassen’s director of product communication, Robyn Reed Frenze, refuted claims of the firm not properly warning the boy’s family “of the medications potential side effects.”

She added that Pledger’s “quality of life was significantly improved during the time he was taking Risperdal.”

Meanwhile, the huge breasts can only be removed through mastectomy.
