Brighton manager Potter delighted with Cucurella impact

Brighton manager Graham Potter has been delighted with Marc Cucurella's impact this season.

The Spanish left-back has been one of Brighton's players during the 2021/22 campaign, having joined from Getafe last summer.

And Potter has revealed that Cucurella is "desperate" to make a name for himself in the Premier League.

He told The Argus: "He has been really important for us since he has come.

"He is a really infectious personality so the lads all love him.

"He's a great character and a bubbly personality around the club.

"On the pitch he brings energy and quality.

"He has grown up at Barcelona so he knows how to play football.

"Now he is desperate to have an impact in the Premier League and we have been so happy with him."
