Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has warned Nigerians against practicing polygamy.
However, the man of God admitted that marrying more than one wife in Christendom is not a sin.
Giwa added that polygamy is a crime against humanity and maintained that engaging in the act will not pit a man against God.
According to Giwa who backed up his claim with bible passages, Abraham and Jacob who married more than one wife made heaven.
He added that his position on the issue was not in support of polygamy but to let the people know the biblical interpretation of the issue.
The pastor further maintained that all a man needs to gain the kingdom is to serve God wholeheartedly and diligently.
“Abraham had three wives, Jacob had four. In Matthew: 8 v 11, specifically, Jesus Christ said to his followers that many would come from the East and West and take their place at the seat with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
