Tottenham seek assistant for Paratici

Tottenham are seeking an assistant for football director Fabio Paratici.

The Sun says Spurs want to give the workaholic some more support, having seen the influential Steve Hitchen leave in February, by seeking someone to work under the Italian.

The addition of Paratici sparked the eventual departure of Hitchen, who had been the club's director of football in all but name.

Hitchen's official title was technical performance director, after a spell as chief scout, but he resigned in February after being marginalised by Paratici's arrival.

This summer is set to be busy for Tottenham's recruitment department with boss Antonio Conte - provided he stays - keen on up to six new signings.
