Photo story: Portable visits Ooni of Ife in his palace; leaves with cash gift

On Saturday, the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, hosted fast-rising singer, Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a portable, at his palace.

As photos and videos from the visit make waves, Portable and the monarch could be seen having a friendly chat, with the singer cracking jokes for him and other persons in attendance.

During their conversation, the monarch gave the musician a bundle of cash with those in attendance cheering him.

Portable, who appreciated the monarch’s gesture in an Instagram post, wrote: “Zazu Zeh everything nah by lucky Oba don bless me with a bunk of money, a day with the most high king @ooniadimulaife of Yoruba land is like a thousands of days. (I) am to happy to be with the king arole odua Adeyeye Ojaja 2…”
