Brazil chiefs table contract to Man City boss Guardiola

Brazil Federation chiefs haven't dropped their interest in Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola turned down the job before the 2018 World Cup, but has remained on Brazil's radar.

Indeed, Marca says a €12m-a-year package is on the table for Guardiola's consideration after Qatar 2022.

Tite is expected to leave after the tournament and the CBF want Guardiola as his replacement.

The Catalan said last month, however: "Brazil has very good Brazilian coaches who have to coach the Seleção. There are good Brazilian coaches. The debate is over."

But the CBF are refusing to drop their interest, despite Guardiola's stand.
