Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski assures Barcelona he wants move

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is willing to join Barcelona this summer.

Sport says Lewandowski has told the club through his people that he wants to come to Barcelona. He will do everything he can to come and has it as his priority.

Conversations for Lewandowski started in January when he offered himself to Barca. His relationship with Bayern has deteriorated because they only offered him a year on his deal which expires in 2023. He thinks his cycle in Munich is over. Now he wants come to Spain.

Barcelona have taken note and have begun to work seriously on his arrival. The final offensive for Lewandowski has not yet begun as they are waiting for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland's final decision. But if he does not come to Barça, they will try for Lewandowski.

He wants a three to four year deal and the key will be for him to force his way out of Bayern for as low a price as possible. The Germans want €65m for him but it could be lowered by exchanges - including Barca fullback Sergino Dest.
