Delta Deputy Governor’s Adviser arrested over alleged conspiracy, stealing of N1.8Million jewelries in Warri

One Endurance Arubu, a self acclaimed former Special Adviser to the immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama has been arrested over an alleged conspiracy with a man simply identified as Victor to steal jewelries worth N1.8m in Warri, DAILY POST can exclusively report.

Victor had taken Endurance who is still at the “A” Divisional Police Headquarters to a shop at the Main Market under the pretense of buying her golden jewelries.

DAILY POST gathered that Victor claimed he was going to Ecobank to effect payments for the gold selected, wherein the process he absconded leaving Endurance who stayed behind to her own fate.

Sensing a foul play after several minutes of wait , the owner of the shop, Rosemary Kpedi raised the alarm and Endurance who had earlier claimed to be Victor’s wife was quickly arrested.

Although, she later denied that she was Victor’s wife, she admitted being her girlfriend, stating that she recently met Victor at a night club along Airport Road and they slept overnight before coming to the shop to buy her some golden jewelries.

Endurance Arubu who claimed to be resident at Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area stated that, “I have been afraid of dating men because I have been kidnapped before, until I met Victor and this thing now happened to me.”

The Divisional Police Officer of the “A” Division in Warri, CSP Kelvin Zuokumor declined comment on the matter, but a police source who craved anonymity said, “The matter is still under investigation and the police is doing its best possible to track and arrest Victor.”

The Source also claimed that the police found in the possession of Endurance Arubu assorted jewelries.
